Having experienced immense stress at work during his corporate days, our founder took a break from work for a beach vacation in Bali. While lying in a hammock one day, he felt an immense sense of tranquillity and thought that it would be perfect if his family and friends could experience it too.

 

Tranquillity. Derived from Latin, tranquil means calm, and something that is exceedingly quiet or restful — a sunset or a rocking hammock under a starry sky — can give you a sense of tranquillity or peacefulness.

 

He has since popularized the concept of freestanding hammocks in Singapore and established a brand that constantly encourages everyone to take a step back to savour a moment of tranquillity and contemplation.
